Shipping Policy

We are committed to ensuring the safe and timely delivery of all livestock.

Shipping Schedule

Orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday only. This schedule helps minimize transit delays and ensures the health and safety of live corals during transport.

Local Pickup

Local pickup is available by appointment only. Please contact us in advance to arrange a pickup time.

Shipping Rates

  • Tri-State Area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut): $35 flat rate
  • All Other U.S. States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and offshore territories): $50 flat rate

At this time, we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. offshore territories.

Live Arrival (DOA) Guarantee — Please Read Carefully

We guarantee that all corals will arrive alive at the time of delivery.

This guarantee applies only to corals that are confirmed dead upon arrival (DOA) and only if all requirements below are strictly followed.

Claim Requirements

To qualify for a DOA claim:

  1. Clear photo or video proof must be submitted within 2 hours of delivery.
  2. All documentation must be emailed to: crownreefcorals@gmail.com
  3. Photos must clearly show:
    • The coral inside the sealed, unopened bag
    • The dead coral out of the bag

Failure to provide proper documentation within the required timeframe voids the DOA guarantee.

If a DOA claim is approved and all claim requirements have been met, we will, at our discretion:

  • Replace the dead coral with the same coral (if available), or
  • Issue store credit equal to the purchase price of the dead coral.

Exclusions

The DOA guarantee does not apply under the following circumstances:

  • Carrier delays
  • Misdelivery
  • Missed delivery attempts
  • Rerouted packages
  • Courier handling issues
  • Weather-related conditions including, but not limited to:
    • Extreme heat
    • Extreme cold
    • Storms
    • Temperature fluctuations during transit

If a delivery is missed, delayed, or rerouted by the shipping carrier, the DOA guarantee is automatically void.

Corals that become dislodged from their frag plugs during shipping are considered normal shipping movement and are not classified as DOA.

Final Sale Policy

All live coral sales are final.

Shipping fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.

If a replacement is approved, the cost of replacement shipping is the responsibility of the customer and is non-refundable.
